For over 150 years, Dido United Methodist Church has stood as a faithful presence in the community—a place of worship, service, and connection. Rooted in tradition and guided by God’s grace, Dido has grown alongside the families and neighborhoods around it, offering hope, hospitality, and a heart for helping others. From Sunday worship to outreach efforts and community events, our church continues to be a meaningful part of life in North Fort Worth. At Dido United Methodist Church, we believe it is our calling and responsibility to faithfully live out Christ’s Great Commission: “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19). This mission guides our ministry, outreach, and commitment to sharing the love and message of Jesus Christ with our community and beyond.

Our Staff
Pastor Jana Wear is a graduate of Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University (Class of 1995) and has faithfully served in several congregations throughout her ministry. Since 2016, she has been leading Dido United Methodist Church as Senior Pastor, bringing warmth, wisdom, and a deep love for community. Pastor Jana and her husband, Sean Wear—owner of a local landscaping business—have two grown children and enjoy sharing life and faith together.
Katy Ebert leads worship at Dido United Methodist Church with passion and talent, serving as our music director, choir conductor, and pianist. A gifted musician, Katy also plays multiple instruments and shares her love of music through teaching piano. She and her husband, Chuck Ebert—owner of a local recording studio—have two adult children and are proud grandparents to three beautiful grandchildren.
